On January 19th Governor O'Malley introduced his budget for
the coming year. True to his pledge, the Governor did not divert any
funding from Program Open Space and the other land conservation
programs. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this campaign. It's definitely a step in the right direction toward protecting Marland's open spaces.
