US PIRG makes a BIG media splash for Higher Ed

US PIRG held a huge press conference with Senator Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and Rep. Joe Courtney (D-Conn.) and coalition partners on March 13th. At the press conference, we delivered 130,000 petitions to Congress to urge them to not double student interest rates in July. We also got 465 media hits nationwide on the event!
